This MTO would be done through Skoak.

I could be convinced as long as no split toe AND a rounder, more versatile less narrow last than Uetam like Forest or Rain? Also I like a high vamp; does this show have a high vamp?

Mike

@mockingboy
in fact i actually tried to purchase a pair of loafers in the same exact makeup mentioned above without the full strap, payment didn't go through thankfully.

Carmina does the full strap in a way no other brands do. The curve of the strap is simply stunning.

Here's a comparison of the side profiles of half vs. full straps

Maiden voyage with the wholecuts! Light polish on the toe with Saphir really brought out the shine!

X-Post

Here's a few quick pics of my new pair of Carminas (GMTO). One under office light where it looks really deep brown and others under the lights at home where it becomes a brighter brown. First pair on the Robert last and fits great!! Will see how it works out as I break it in around the house.

Hey Mike, I've tried the Rain last and it does not fit me well at all.

I'm assuming this applies to the Forest last as well since Uetam and Simpson fits me the best.

Not sure about the vamp part, maybe someone else could help?

Uetam it is I guess.

Can anyone help me with size on this? How do you adjust for the Uetam and anyon ehave side bys ides of Uetam with other lasts?

I wear a UK 9/9.5E in Edward Green 202, 10 in Alden Barrie and 9 UK in Rain?

Thanks,
Mike

Can someone please offer any information on Soller last sizing? ........ How does it compare to Oscar and Rain lasts. Do you size down half a size as some people are saying? I'm told there is no fixed rule so if someone with experience with the Soller last could give some help that would be great....... thanks.
