Nothing too crazy compared to the shell boots going around, but I just received the captoe bal from Steve. The dark brown almost has a slight bronze tint and looks great. And once again, I love the Rain last...it's like Carmina used my foot as the mold.

Nice shoes! Is this Model 80201 by any chance, if not what's the model number?

Anyone ever try and order an existing Carmina model in a different leather color?

I may be interested in the Carmina 80208 (plain toe adelaide, simpson last) and I may have a couple problems -- 1) I'm interested in it as one of my few black shoes, not the chestnut shown on their website and 2) it doesn't appear to be available from any store.

Is there any way to order this and avoid paying the MTO markup? They clearly already have the patterns, I'd just like it in black calf.

Thoughts?

Kev, they look fantastic :nodding:

They look much better in real than pics, I'm more than impressed. I never try to compare makers until I have purchased a pair to compare, these def compare very favourably to C & J Handgrades with respect to both workmanship, leather and finishing. These will not be my last pair of Carmina's!!!
