I just wish the bottoms were black - the browns make them harder to pull off with a suit in my opinion.

That's actually the same model Epaulet calls the Ellison. You can see much better pictures here. Since you're in New York you can even try it on. I did that this weekend and it's a gorgeous shoe but I convinced myself to go for the ruby captoe MTO instead:

I have another pair of Carminas on the Rain last (austerity brogue) and I felt it was the best fitting pair of shoes I own. It fits me TTS at UK8/US9. This pair of single monks is also UK8/US9 and feels a touch looser in the heel area and I seem to get a slight heel lift (though I haven't walked for real in these shoes yet). I think once the sole breaks in a bit, the fit should be pretty good.

Those are awesome. Is Louis still there? He was really helpful when I was there last year.
