Can anyone give me some information regarding these Omega cufflinks?

I got my hands on these:

Any information on these would be great.

Does anyone know what the stone is? The actual cufflinks are quite heavy.

Anyone have any estimation of how much (or little) these are worth?

So I've done some googling and I have NOTHING. I'm assuming it is the same brand as Omega watches? Google has nothing on Omega and "for men of distinction", even.

Not to bust your chops.

But from I can tell of the photos these cufflinks look to be simple chromed links of essentially no value. I cannot tell anything about the stones. But it would be rare indeed for anyone to have mounted anything of value into a setting of such low quality. Stones of any quality would be mounted in either a silver, silver gilt, or gold mount.

Photos of the backs of the links, including the mechanism would be helpful in terms of dating them. From a style perspective they are probably after 1920 and before 1960.

I would guess they are not worth more than $20, but that's just an old ebay cufflinker's opinion based on a photo, others might think differently.
