LOL he lives about 20m from me, always pays premiums and never any issues.

I actually don't think he's a bad guy - though his initial message to me was borderline offensive - he has come off the fire-and-brimstone threats [report me to ebay, paypal, Higher Authority, etc] and accusations ["it smells" ] in his latest communications. If he really is going to donate it, check your local goodwill for one of the nicest size 50 Loro Piana cashmere-cotton sportcoats...It might smell a little like Hermes cologne though.

Just called eBay , rep read the messages. Basically told me I should take the return or refund/partial because even though it looks like clear buyer's remorse, if the buyer escalates to a case, I will loose and get a defect.

I always thought odor claims weren't covered under SNAD

Update- I called ebay again yesterday and spoke to a rep who agreed with me that the buyer was abusing returns. Just like @SpooPoker posted a few pages back, I asked for an SR case number from this agreeable rep. Called ebay again today, the rep saw the notes in their system and assured me that if the buyer does return the item, I will not be charged for the return shipping
