The Kensington is among my favourites. It is a lovely shaped shoe. So i would give it a thumbs up.

As far as semi brogues go, i would also suggest a Cheaney Tenterden. The last its on is suited to wider feet
I’ve managed to find some Cheaney full brogues that I quite like - the model is called Arthur and they’re G fit which is good for me. Sorry to go back to this, but does anyone have an opinion on whether these will compliment the suit I’ve chosen? I know people suggested dark brown and these are darker than my existing trickers oxfords, but are still a medium brown I’d say. They’re brand new and £170 which is a good deal, but I don’t want the price to sway me to the wrong decision so brutal honesty appreciated. My gut feeling is it doesn’t work. Suit and shoes below.

I like them, very much, but find them not ideal for your purpose. Better something darker and more subdued.

Having said that, go for it, if you feel it's good, ultimately it's YOUR wedding.

I think that’s a no… appreciate the opinion.

Colourwise they would combine well, I just think they are not the right pair for a wedding.

However, the suit isn't the right (traditional) one either, so feel free to choose the option you most like.

I think you’re right. I need less broguing as the suit is patterned. Just wanted to check before turning down a bargain.

Visible Pick Stitching on Lapels and Pockets

  • It’s a mark of quality and craftsmanship

  • I like it when it’s subtle

  • I don’t like visible stitching

  • Doesn’t matter to me
