Yeah, definitely not advocating the use of zip flys on denim. I'm about the buttons myself.

I'll happily stand corrected on the softness though, like I said just going by what I heard.

Word! Zip flies are not my gig. Too dangerous too. Add to this: Warehouse 660s. They've now become my softest jeans after their second soak. Slubby heaven. Hey, I even have a pair for sale...

+1 I have a pair of RB bought from Odin years ago and they were and still are the softest denim i own.

Wow a lot of different opinions. Where could I go to try some different brands on? I checked Nordstrom, 5th, and NM and only really found Nudie and PRPS...

It depends on where you live, some cities don't have any places with a decent selection.

Jake Agave Pima Cotton, and Antik Denim Wool/Cashmere/Cotton Blend. Both very soft.

Will the cotton/cashmere jeans still wear and fade like regular raw denim? How would I eventually wash them? Cold/hang dry?
