Does anyone have an opinion as to what is the best way to hang formal trousers? The most convenient way is to fold them across the horizontal bar of a suit hanger around a third of the way down the leg. There’s also the Saville Row fold which is a little more complex but looks like it prevents the hanger bar creasing the trousers. But isn’t the best way to hang them from a clasp hanger from the hem so that there is horizontal crease anywhere on the trousers and that the weight of the trousers pulling down naturally straightens out any creases? The only problem with this is that you need to find suit covers long enough to accommodate the unfolded leg. Any thoughts?
