I recently ha d a friend returning from a holiday in Naples. He visited many of the shoe, suit and shirt stores and came to the following conclusion:

Best bespoke shoes: Scafora
Best suits & sporting jackets: Rubinacci
Best shirts: Borelli
Best ties: Marinella


Do members with Napoli experience agree?

How on earth can anyone be so positive without having bought from each?

The odd crap can be discerned but to crown anyone BEST without extensive purchase is pure nonsense

+1000 I think there are some members that might dissagree on the shirts & shoes, as for coats ... But we have recently seen some beautifull Scaforas

There are a lot of good, even great, tailors, tie makers and shirtmakers in Naples. Borrelli is not really part of the discussion, but the others are, even though preferences determine the best. Scafora is one of very few shoemakers, so no matter what you think of the makers, it is a short list.
