Milosh, You are correct. A bespoke tie maker should have hundreds of silks to choose from not just the silks of the season. A bespoke tie maker should listen to what you want and work with you. A bespoke tie maker should make the ties in-house and not under contract - the reason for this is quality control and the ability to make very small changes to a pattern quickly and correctly. As an example today we were working on a complex construction Macclesfield print tie and we needed to make a small adjustment just before finishing the tie to make it perfect. The adjustment required unfolding the tie; something that a contractor is unlikely to do as most would not see the small difference and the adjustment took over an hour. A bespoke tie maker should listen to his clients not only to assure the obvious correct fit in terms of length and width, but the shape, thickness, construction etc..

Hello Sam,

thanks for providing information.

I am interessted in buying ties. Do you ship to germany (and how much is it)?

The rise of my actual suits are low, so I need one or two inch extra length. Is this possible and how much is this?!

Yours
GN

Golf Nerd, You can have any length or width that you like. This link may be of help in getting you started: http://www.samhober.com/customties/c...detieguide.htm This link will give you an idea of our prices, please email me with your questions: http://www.samhober.com/ties/customnecktieprices.htm We working hard at the moment to clear a backlog of orders so for the next couple of months we will be slow at completing orders. We use the post office to mail ties and will ship to anywhere in the world that the mail is reliable. We do ship to Germany. Sam is my 2 year old daughter Samantha.

Guys, they ARE mafoo's ties. Remember his neurosis about not mixing brands? He sold all his non-Rubinacci ties to Vox.

There are different tribes of iGent.

I also do like film noir, preferably starring Lino Ventura.
