Currently drinking some Assam Rajgarh, from Harrods a few years ago. A bit too much tannin.

I seem to be getting more sensitive to the tannin. So much that even second flush Darjs are becoming too astringent.

I'm buying my tea now from Eco Cha, which specializes in high alt Taiwanese Oolongs, which is exactly what I want. The traditional Dong Ding and Alishan are really good.

Since I'm drinking fancy Oolongs now, finally broke down and bought a real teapot. I can't believe I put it off this long. No more burning my fingers trying to pour from a Gaiwan and yeah, steeping it in clay actually does make it taste much better.
