Are Clarke's still the go-to for desert boots? Found an awesome picture of my grandfather sporting a suede pair in Africa back in the 50's.

Alcohol in Japan is very cheap. $20 for a bottle of black label, $40 for lower end single malt Glenfiddich.

Since it's cheaper, I'm after some recommendations for some higher end Japanese whiskey. I thought Hibiki was the one to go for but I noticed that it's a blend. I've seen Yamazaki as well which is a single malt at 21 years which seems affordable. What're my best options. Undecided if I'll bring two bottle of Japanese whiskey back , or a single and a bottle of Scotch. Just want to know if besides that Yamazaki is there anything else I should try and get ?

Late reply I know but I would go for the following.
- Hibiki 17
- Nikka Taketsuru 21 is amazing
- Yamazaki 15+ I find these to be quite sweet and prefer the nikka

There's also a range of whisky from Suntory not exported. Worth trying to sample a few if you get the chance. Failing that grab a bottle of ardbeg supernova for cheap!!

Too expensive these days. CR/Trenery have some out on deep discount atm which might suit.

Went into Oscar Hunt this morninng and placed an order for a 3 roll 2 sports coat in a Poter & Harding Glorious Twelfth.

Gone for a winter weight jacket that would suit both work and casual.

Steve was fantastic in terms of assistance and helping me narrow down the fabric.

Aside from that the showroom would make a great appartment.

Come back on the 20th Feburary for first fitting.
