You sold me.   I'll try out the OCBD and see what the reactions are.  Don't want to be seen as putting on airs by the co-workers, but I won't be wearing a Van Halen t-shirt either.  It's a fine line.

Dude, you're in your 40s. Having buttons on your shirt is a bare minimum.

so the Sail Rigger arrived today. i love everything about it EXCEPT the length. i am afraid it will come untucked in no time at all.

what other OCBD's can i check out that might have a longer tail?

thanks!

I did a quick google search and saddle shoes look much clunkier. If anyone can please find this pair or a similar one I would greatly appreciate it b
I would agree they are saddle shoes. They just happen to be tone-on-tone and made a little more streamlined than most.

You need to find one with a single leather or rubber sole.

what's more versatile? the beefroll penny or the plain toe blucher?
Plain toe blucher. A penny might be too casual for some situations.

Just received two LBM jackets from yoox in my quest for a green sports coat. I am not sure which looks best color wise (they both fit about the same IMO - they need some sleeve shortening).
1. Darker green "emerald" more like forrest green

2. Olive/gray color termed "military green"

Personally I would go with the darker (forest) one.
