I like the look of JCrew, but I've been rather dissatisfied with their quality.  What's a similar brand that's a step up in terms of quality, but not too high of price?

Also, do Brooks Brothers' Milano pants go on sale much?  Right now they're 2 for $159, which is hardly a discount.  Steve Smith suggests I look in B&S, but I have an uncommon size, at 29x32 (though BB doesn't have that size, so I'll have to try 30x32)

BB is about to have a 5-day sale event in which selected categories of clothing will be discounted at 40% off next week.
If you are looking for milano dress pants, they are on the list of Day 4, Dec. 12.

If chinos are what you need, BB should have a 30%+15% sale on almost everything on 12/26.

What are the best color shoes to wear with grey pants? I have brown, burgundy, and black. I know black is the easiest, although I hate wearing anything black. Do burgundy and brown shoes work with grey pants?

I often wear burgundy or black shoes with grey pants. Both colors work well with grey, although in some situations one may prove better than another.

I much less frequently opt for brown shoes with grey pants.

So that's my take on it, although without posting a picture of the pants and the shoes, it's difficult to give a definite answer.

Can somebody describe this blazer as precisely as possible so i can find something comparable:

I mean what material its made of, lapel "type" and perhaps designer/brand (that would be really awesome!)
Many thanks!

Looks like unworsted wool, small peak lapel, with leather trim at the lapel and pockets. It also looks fused. It is very short, so it is definitly not somthing that you would wear with matching pants (i.e. not a suit jacket).

Try going to Saks Fifth Avenue, if you have one near you.

Check out this jacket from Burberry: http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main..._name=Burberry+Brit&N=306443707&bmUID=jgawqDD

ok... b/c the first pic was silly and smelled of trolling.... the 2nd one looks like a hat one may actually wear. I would just wonder how long is your hair? A beanie hat will usually look better IMO if your face is framed with some exposed hair around the edges. If your hair is very short (and also depending on the shape of your face/head) it may not be a becoming look on you. If you are very good looking I don't think it makes a difference either way. That's honest advice there.... ;)
