Those are in good shape. If you like the shoes and are happy with the price you paid, seems like a good buy.

I'm quite happy with the price I paid (135, no reason to be vague, I'm paying for them), and I really nice a nice pair of brown bluchers. I just hope they fit. I wear a 12E in the 8 last, and an AE customer service rep said I might be okay with that same size on the 5 as they both lean long/narrow. Not terribly worried though, I can resell them if they don't fit. God I hope they do though, because I really like them.

Edit: Forgot to quote the two posts above. Thanks guys.

Probably answered before but couldn't find the right answer:
I'm getting new tuxedo pants tailored and have worn them with sidetabs in the past. I'd like to wear suspenders now but am unsure whether side tabs are still warranted or whether its stylistically appropriate to wear tux pants both with sidetabs AND suspenders.

Many thanks

Hi!

I have ordered a test shirt from an italian MTM shirt maker, and I have some rumples on my chest.

Is it too slim on the chest area? Or is it my posture that makes the rumples? Maybe too small armhole? Any suggestions on alterations for my next shirt?

Anything would be appreciated.

Sincerely Max

Looking for some advice... I am going to a wedding at the end of this month and trying to pull off this look.

I currently have this suit below and Allen Edmonds McAllistors in Walnut

The questions I have:
What tie would go with a light yellow shirt?
Should I stick with a black and white checkered pocket square?
Is it ok to go to a wedding without socks... if not what color socks should I pair up?

Thanks

return that jacket immediately.
there is no way to make that wearable.
I dont think your posture is that odd .
take a photo in just a shirt and pants.
and relax during the photo
Do you mean the posture is not particularly odd in the photo or that the photo posture is odd, but the normal one not that odd?

Your posture, while quite erect, is not that odd. That shirt also doesn't fit you. BTW, he was right about the suit--it's never going to work. Return it.

In Boston--I've been visiting thrift stores (Keezer's, STA, The Closet) in search of a suit, but nothing I've found so far will fit. 38S is perfect in the chest and length, but the shoulders are invariably a bit too big. I've found a good tailor, but he maintains that these are not worth altering. Does anyone have ideas on how to proceed, on a slender budget? I'd be grateful for suggestions.

Been looking at gray suits lately on a budget, I found a suit I love however I don't know if the gray is too dark to pull of brown shoes, these compliment each other before I buy? I feel the brown should be dark enough.

Thanks!

Follow-up--Would an MTM like Black Lapel be a reasonable option, if I can scrape together the capital?
