Please let me know if you think any of these older silk ties look valid as a classic menswear.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I was promoted into more of an executive role, and I am going through my old business wardrobe and updating for formal and business casual. Some of these ties have sat unused for 10-15 years or more. At the time I was fairly conservative in choosing ties and went with all silk and nothing too flashy. With the possible exception of 13, these are all acceptable ties? I don't know about "valid", but they seem perfectly fine?

PS. Have seen several recommendations for a Navy silk Grenadine Tie. Never heard of these back in the day. Shopping for one now.
Thank you very much.I think 13 is the least classic. Also 6 and 10 are a bit dated. I would favor the others over these three ties. Navy grenadine is a smart addition!
Also, can't tell the tie width from the pics, but some look narrower than others. For me personally, I don't like to wear (or look at) skinny ties that were trendy 5 years ago. My minimum width at the widest part of the tie is 3.5" (3.5" to 3.75" is perfect and classic to me). I bought a tie from an online sale that turned out to be a skinny 3" wide tie...will never wear it.
