How are you feeling today?
Most of the time I prefer the lightness of wine over Scotch, but still imbibe it weekly. Wine 6 nights out of 7. Never could stand the taste of tequila. The peat/wine interplay on the nose is just lovely. Sweetness of the wine somewhat surprisingly wins the day, to my nose.
Will say, it’s amazing how heavy a scotch can feel relative to a similarly strong tequila.

Ohhhhhh bawls, are these all done for? Or only "sold out" for the pre-order window?@ericgereghty
K&L added some new Signatorys at solid prices
16 year Ardmore, refill sherry
18 year Highland Park, first fill sherry
there's also a 11 year GlenAllachie, 8 year Ben Nevis, and an 18 year Macallan (solid, but $$)
I’m think some will come online when they arrive, but not sure.Ohhhhhh bawls, are these all done for? Or only "sold out" for the pre-order window?
Some are back up nowOhhhhhh bawls, are these all done for? Or only "sold out" for the pre-order window?
Ha, I was gonna say. Guess they had to transfer from pre-order to stock. Good stuff. Some are back up now
Due to the varied nature of HPs, I only got one, but if it is indeed that good, I'll be getting backups. That Highland Park (Orkney) will be a banger. I have a bottle from the cask number right after it and I call it a Springbank killer. I have a couple bottles on preorder.
I thought I had posted it here. Forgot that you already asked about it. Here's the pic of it again where you can see the barrel/date. Should be very similar to the K&L one.How was the Orkney? Highland parks can be so different. Some sweet, some savory, some almost no smoke, others almost like a Lagavulin
