I want this to be good, but those preview spots and the words "psychosexual thriller" leave me with a sense of dread (and not the kind they were going for).

EDIT: But listing the oft-maligned Don't Look Now as a major influence is...interesting? gutsy? whatever. I'll probably give it a shot.

Oh, so like Nip/Tuck it would become unwatchable after the second season?

LMAO the 4th season onward was so bad with all of the unbelievable BS they put in, I watched it for comedy purposes only. I loved how they made their kid a cleft lipped lobster-clawed monster and then pretended it didn't exist.

Damn, I didn't realize it had started already. Worth watching on my laptop?

It's something I can't tell if I like it yet or not, but I'm still tuning in because I want to see where it will go. Not bad so far, still undecided.

I like the double maid device. I don't think I've seen it before and it really works well. That said, it's about the only thing that does work. There are so many moving parts to this story that it defies the sense of narrative. Every time one conflict develops another is introduced, then another. There are now so many horrific things going on that its devolving into self-parody and camp. However, I'll keep watching it just for a glimpse of the young maid.

Okay, just caught up with the last two episodes. This show is just starting to get out of control. Way too much going on in the one hour. And with the amount of hauntings and death, you'd think the family would say to hell with it and just pack up and leave. Take the loss on the damn house!

Not sure where or how this whole series will end. And I mean this in a negative way.
