Is it normal to have the lacing through the vamp on the Gilman dig into the top of your feet? And painfully so initially?
Never owned a pair of camp mocs. But the more I think about it, the more strange I find that lacing design. The vamp and instep is supposed to be snug in order to prevent heel slip right? But who am I to argue, these have been worn for generations!
Hoping it becomes less of an issue with break in. Or perhaps I have the sizing wrong.
