Another thumbs up for Pinnas and Needles. I have used them for tapering trousers, shortening trousers and putting working buttonholes in the sleeves of a jacket. The work was all done very well, and the brothers who run it are very friendly.

I actually had bad experience with Pinnas and Needles. I believe they are very overpriced. They altered a pair of chinos for me and a blazer. The finish on the chinos was terrible. The blazer looked OK but not great. Just sharing my experience...

Would you mind sharing what kind of alteration for the blazer you wanted and what happened? I am looking for alterations as well (sides taken in, shorten sleeve)... and their name is popping up/recommended everywhere.

Sure, mine needed take in and shortened, it was also too wide on the shoulders. That's right - their name keeps popping up all over the forum which makes it kind of suspicious, in my opinion, or maybe I was just really unlucky. In any case, I don't think Pinnas and Needles are great.
