I wear a lot of Polos and they are not well fitted at all. The main problem is at the waist, where many inches have to be taken off.

Do you know of a good tailor who would do alterations on polos?

thanks,

Have you tried a different brand? Bad fit is reason enough not to wear it.

I've found Marc Jacobs fit much better, and even Target merona polos.

The kind of alteration you're asking about shouldn't be too difficult by any full-service tailor in the city: there's Wilfred's, Cardelino's and many others who would do this for you.

Look for the 'NYC Tailoring' thread for options.
