Have a question regarding sizing on the AE x massdrop unlined chukka. Normally I wear Loake last 26 (Loake kempton), Alfred Sargent last 87 (Alfred Sargent Cambridge) size 8.5UK, Adidas boost size 10.5US (10 is fine but snug fit), CDB size 9 US (quite snug at first but very comfortable after stretching out). So what is the best size for me to take?

Hard to say, but 9.5D would be my best guess.

I jumped the gun about a month ago and posted the group photo, but here’s a different look at my 2018 acquisitions. My idea of a solid core rotation is pretty minimal, so I blasted off into the shell stratosphere this year. I’m hoping for some loafers and a split toe or 2 in the new year.

The upper of the Jefferson 1.0 featured a single line of stitching through two critical lines where the Mcallister features double stitching. Can you spot these two critical areas?

In designing the Jefferson 2.0, Allen Edmonds recognized the significance of these lines and their aesthetic consequence, then incorporated the double stitching as seen on the Mcallister.

Happy New Year devotees of quality footwear! Again I break out the Tux and for the second year the 1963 AE Polo wholecut U-throats. Later became the Belgium as the Polo became a saddle shoe-the glass is full of Maker’s 46,cheers to all and drinkin from a distance with @orange fury et al!
