I don't even wear ties right now. As Spoos tumblr said, "90 degrees, I tell a tie please" - it's 110 daily. I don't even wear a sport coat until like October. It's sad.

On the upside, I've got a few thousand dollars in linen I want to buy. I've got some shirts coming from Luxire that I ordered a few weeks ago, with some swatches to decide from.

    Love that tie PP!

A while back I was with jester, solid tie . . . Eh. So what. I got some solids from David, and now I wear them a good bit--a whole lot more than I ever thought I would. I'll probably tire of them and go back to predominately patterns soon. Manic I guess.

Here is a non grenadine that has become one of my favorites. It is the powder blue on blue flower silk tie #14-D. Picture is lousy I fear (my self portrait iphone skills need work). Actual color is a bit darker and less shiny.

Very nice. I have a couple of the flower pattern ties like that and enjoy them. Close enough to solids for many purposes but have a bit of interest.

Luvwine - that is very nice, thanks for posting the pic!

Luvwine/archibaldleach/Gradschooler - I now have flower pattern tie envy. [IMG]

I honestly hadn't paid attention to that page on David's website. This is why we need more non-grenadine pics!

Repost of part of my collection that includes the 3 flower ties. The red and light blue flower tie does have a bit of sheen but not as much as in the picture. I still prefer the blue and blues. [IMG]

    thanks for the high praise!

i have tried many color pants with that SC. a mid gray that is clearly darker than the SC seems to work best. if you like, you can see a similar such example in WAYWRN from yesterday, as i was again wearing that SC.

    thanks, dude!!!

I do, the only thing that makes me sad is that it'll be a month until I'm able to wear it since I'm going on a trip next week.
