I thought you might like mine...

On the subject of 6x1s, I'm just not that into them. That super-long lapel line is too much for me.

I DID!!!

and i agree on 6 x 1s. i think the only time i saw a pic of one that i loved, was a pic of mr. camoshita. and i think it was actually meant to be a 6 x 2 that he was just spreezing out.

My DB's are always made to run to the lower button, but with 2 jigger buttons so it will work both ways
:bigstar:

Thanks for saving my a** Butler, I just picked up a 6x1 flannel DB today and after only briefly trying it on I must say I like the look.....

I was invited to submit a list. I will start with a 20+ thumbs up from one of my favorite forum members, Igor. His creative and daring combinations are much missed. Also, he's a real gentleman. IST66:

Texture and a lovely, bold tie. There much going on here, but I think it comes together nicely.

The cut of the coat with the extra touch of the ticket pocket puts this to the top:

Of the old guard, my favorite dresser was either Mao or :foo: . If I saw more CM fits from gdl, I suspect he'd be up there with the other two.

Mao was peacock before peacock became a thing and went off the rails.

:foo: was always kinda just a poor man's iammatt (who is easily the best of the old guard IMO - if you ignore his terrible taste in ties).

The only man for whom I'll ignore poor taste in ties is Holdfast.

(But I would definitely not turndown a few pictures of iammatt in this thread)

Me too.

I have to try a DB. My problem is that I wear ties about once a week and I'm not sure I'm a DB-sans-tie type of dude.
