I can't see why Team GB (awful name) didn't use Jimmy Savile as their inspiration - national figure, sporting pedigree and shares his name with somewhere known for excellent clothing.

It's bound to be better than whatever bland high street rubbish they'll actually end up with.

The Canadian uniforms feature heavy use of patches and denim—Canadian tuxedo, etc. And items you would wear camping. I don't know which bits will be worn in the opening ceremony, but you can see some for yourself:

I like these Canadian ones!

Hmmm interesting read on who's behind the uniforms.
So Stella McCartney did the actual kits for GB which I'm fine with:

Who is responsible for the boring ceremony wear?

A bunch of amateurs from Next.

Giorgio Armani does the Italians under the EA line.

Ferragamo does Republic of San Marino...

Jamaica is pretty decent. Is SuitSupply really making the Dutch uniforms? Of course, it looks great. Belize's is also nice:

The Jamaican uniforms look quite fashionable; I love the French uniforms the best, simple but elegant.
Don't know, you can hardly see the French uniform on that picture, especially the men's one, I need more pictures. I would probably like the UK's the best if it weren't for the fact that they look like a bloody flight crew about to welcome you aboard.
What can I say about Spain? Everything is wrong: ugly design, lousy fit, cheap material... and to add insult to injury they had to display them on mannequin's they appear to have borrowed from the discount store down the street. I suppose they didn't want to bruise anyone's feeling with expensive suits given the state of the economy.
