With the Lamar it’s pretty simple: size down one from your regular alpha size unless you’re comfortable with a super oversized fit.Anybody can speak to their experiences with the Biella and Lamar coats, and give me an idea what the fit on them is? Trying to understand which is a better option as the secondary market has both atm in my size
I would also take one size smaller, unless you wear fairly wide pants.Anybody can speak to their experiences with the Biella and Lamar coats, and give me an idea what the fit on them is? Trying to understand which is a better option as the secondary market has both atm in my size
The nylon adds the uneven, bubbled texture to the yarn.Another question: Does anyone have a picture of the Cuoco and can tell me how the merino nylon yarn feels? (And if anyone knows explain what nylon adds to the yarn)
Thanks. I very rarely wash my knitwear/ take it to a dry cleaner (no clothes that require too much care for me). I never have the impression that it smells unpleasant. Is this also the case with the nylon or do odors tend to develop with nylon? The nylon adds the uneven, bubbled texture to the yarn.

don’t size down. I have two Lamars, one sized down and one true to size and the latter wins hands down.
it’s not THAT dramatically oversized or anything, just a nice loose fit.
I have the Biella in XL and Lamar in L and I would say they fit somewhat similar (the Lamar might be a touch bigger). The main difference is the weight and length. The Biella is lighter and shorter, which makes it easier to layer and throw on. The Lamar is a much thicker cloth, so it's warmer and is a longer style.Anybody can speak to their experiences with the Biella and Lamar coats, and give me an idea what the fit on them is?
