    Any thoughts on calf vs lambskin in the L01? Lamb looks nicer to my eyes in pictures (and is all that I can find in boutiques). Went through some old posts and there were some claiming the calf is more durable.

    I tried them on and bought them at a boutique. I recommend it. I think it really depends on how you want them to fit. At 42.5, mine are not tight. I feel good wearing them anywhere, and my feet have never hurt wearing them.

    I’d worry about that zipper getting worn down. At the same time, if you like them and wear them, who cares. One thing you could try is buying a good pair of boot trees (which are good to own in any case).

    I would go up a size. Footwear that is too tight eventually collects dust. I have Wyatt Chelseas and they are not tight on my feet anywhere. I wear them everywhere. I highly doubt anyone can look at a pair of shoes and say, that’s a size too big. Just my opinion.
