Barely Used, RRL M Shawl Wool Shawl-Collar Cardigan $190, OBO

Barely Worn, RRL, 100% Wool Shawl-Collar Cardigan Sweater My friend bought this and wore it 2 or 3 times and I bought it off of him and wore it around the house yesterday for maybe 30 minutes. Will be willing to trade it for a cool sweater of some type. I do love it, but it's a tad too warm for...

    Mega Millions

I once asked the cashier at my liquore store what's the most amount of money he's seen people spend on the mega millions. He said, "when it gets over 100 million, lots of people that normally spend $15 dollars per draw routinely spend $100. When it's over $300 million, there are quite a few...

    Love greek yogurt....

I'm Greek and it's incredibly easy to make "Greek" Yogurt. My mom makes it every once in a while, and it's obviously cheaper than FAGE. Also, FAGE in Greece is super cheap and considered a very average brand. It's hilarious that they've marketed it here as being high end.

    Most overrated Los Angeles restaurants?

+1 First off, you can only go to the hollywood location. 2nd off, it used to be better before the remodel and had a MUCH better vibe. The first time I went to Roscoes was 10 years ago and we had to wait 1.5 hours and it was so worth it. Just had it recently and it's not as good, but the...

Going to Greece - what should I eat?

The tomatos in greece aren't what they used to be at many restaurants (and households). You have to go to our equivalent of farmer's markets now to buy tomatos that used to be all over the place 20 years ago. That said, a good tomato in summer with a little olive oil and salt over it and a...

Going to Greece - what should I eat?

I'm Greek American and have been to Greece 7 times, each trip for months at a time: 1) Doris. Great food and AMAZING loukoumathes 2) Taverna tou Psiri is good, though it's gone down a bit 3) This website is pretty spot on. Beware of places that might be living off of reputation though (like...

Horseback Riding: Didn't know I'd like it so much!

Did you know how to ride before, or did you learn on this ride? This sounds like something I would want to try. (I'm in LA as well) This was my first time ever being on a horse (I'm 22 yrs old). I would HIGHLY recommend that place I went to: http://pvhorses.com/ The views were truly amazing...

Horseback Riding: Didn't know I'd like it so much!

They're beautiful animals. They really are. Very powerful too. I kept on muttering to myself that entire continents were conquered with horses and how awesome it was that I was riding one.

Horseback Riding: Didn't know I'd like it so much!

I got dragged to go horseback riding this weekend and thought it'd be boring (not to mention expensive). It was actually one of the best experiences of my life! AMAZING views of Los Angeles and being surrounded in a lush green environment was so refreshing. Does anyone here go horseback riding...

Question for the Crockett and Jones Experts

Is it douchy to go to T&A for a fitting and then buy online from PLAL? My excuse was going to be that i'll be visiting london soon and know they tell people to buy in England (for shirts) if they're gonna be there b/c it's cheaper (or so i've heard). Thoughts and moral guidance is welcome.

Must go to places in Rome, Naples, Athens, and Istanbul

Athens: 1) Doris for homemade food and the best loukoumathes in the city! Krinos also has fantastic loukoumathes and is very old school athens. 2) The following guide is quite good. I visited one of the places that my dad grew up going to (it was an Athenian institution) that's mentioned in the...
