Looking for a fit check for this sport coat

Hey guys. Just picked up this suede sport coat from a Mr Porter sale and was looking for some fit advice. I know the sleeves definitely need to be hemmed a bit but aside from that does the fit on this look ok?

Rocky Mountain Featherbed Down Short Shell Jacket Fit Check

Hey guys. Just got this rmfb dss jacket in earlier today and was just wondering if I could get a comment on the fit. It seems and looks to be a good fit to my eye, I’m just a little unsure as I’m used to having a good amount of extra room in my down jackets. This ones seems to be a little more...

Cool furniture, design objects and desiderata

That’s kind of what I’m going for. The womb chairs I’m seeing don’t seem to be as wide as the chair pictured though. What I really like about the chair from the picture is that almost comically long width in the back.

Cool furniture, design objects and desiderata

Bit of a weird question I know, but would anyone by chance have any recommendations for a chair I could buy that’s similar to this one Bruce Campbell was sitting in on this episode of Psych?

RANCOURT & Co. Shoes - Made in Maine

Yep that's them! Couldn't agree more about Rancourt shell as a whole. When it comes to working with Shell they are just masters of the craft and work with it so much better than any of the other makers in there price range(i.e Alden, AE, C&J). Case in point my (other) pair of reverse shell...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Thanks for all the responses guys. Just sent them an email inquiring about it. Plus I just found a second defect I didn’t even realize until I tried to lace them up just to test the fit! It looks like the top speed hook on the right boot actually arrived bent inward so close to the leather it’s...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Hey Guys! Long time since I’ve posted here. Just wanted to ask your expert opinion on this Galway GMTO I just received. They're Veldschoten(unsure of spelling) construction and I noticed the welt on one of the boots looks like it was pushed in or something and looks like it’s kind of warped...

RANCOURT & Co. Shoes - Made in Maine

IME with my own Chromepak sole pairs yes they can be worn outside no problem, although they do tend to wear down much quicker than a standard leather sole and things like gravel and loose rocks can chew them up pretty good. I wouldn't expect more than half a year or so out of the sole if you're...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

So just to fill everyone in on the Galway welt issue. I got off the phone with Steven at gentleman's footwear a little bit ago and had a very pleasant conversation with him. He informed me of two different options I had. I could do an exchange but since they didn't have any of my size in that...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Hey guys thanks for the responses. The advice about the brushing for the white smudges was absolutely spot on. After some vigorous brushing I was able to remove the majority of the white spots. That slice on the welt is still a little concerning though. Not end of the world concerning but I...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Hey folks was just looking for an opinion on these waxed suede Galways that just came in. They're lovely but I was thinking about possibly asking for an exchange. Just wanted to ask your guys opinions to see if I should reach out about an exchange or maybe if I'm just overreacting and should...

Ralph Lauren lines, and 'who makes what' - a definitive guide

Hey guys. Question for all you RLPL experts, hope it's alright to ask this here. I just snagged this RLPL wool blend overshirt off the Mr. Porter sale and was curious if anyone might be able to just chime in on who might have made it and if it was a good buy or not at the 60% off. Thanks! Gray...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

I think that has more to do with EG's policies than the horrible work that was done to the shoes. IIRC if you get any kind of resole work outside of something minor like a topy or toe taps done by a third party EG will refuse to work on the boots thereafter, regardless of the quality of the work...

RANCOURT & Co. Shoes - Made in Maine

I'd go TTS. I have a pair I bought from the last crowdfunding sale where I went 1/2 under brannock and they ended up being too small.

Standard & Strange: Boots, Leather, & Denim - Official Affiliate Thread

Are these even made in a 38 or is 36 the largest size they go up to? I want a pair of these but need something my fat ass would actually be able to fit in!
