Thanks, I also have a low instep so sounds like Plaza might work. Hampton fits me reasonably well, but the facings are kissing when laced up.

Can anyone comment on the fit of Plaza vs Hampton? Particularly in regards to toe box & heel width, and instep volume. Thanks

Are those turnback cuffs considered a classic option or is that a new trend? I saw Spier & Mackay has a dinner jacket with similar cuffs Are the turnback cuffs considered a traditional style? I saw Spier & Mackay has a jacket with turnbacks this season.

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

I agree regarding not feeling the need to blend in. My point was more in the vein of not trying to dress too many levels of formality above everyone else around me when in certain environments... particularly the office and work related functions where it's important for me to have rapport with...

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

Each to his own. My style is also naturally more casual than the typical SF poster in this thread, but IMO expressing your personality and dressing appropriately for your environment aren't mutually exclusive. I'm not uncomfortable wearing a sport coat with jeans, a tuxedo, board shorts...

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

For me personally, I find people dress so casually now, odd jackets in even a casual fabric/pattern are seen as overly dressy by most people. The few times I've worn an odd jacket to work I get asked if I'm going to an interview at lunch. It depends on what crowd you hang out with (I interact...

HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

The trousers definitely look a little too long, creating that stacking effect. Otherwise outfit looks great.

Yeah, I think he's hoping for $1 a word, lol. My favorite part is the pic of the screenshot of some Instagram influencer forwarding the seller's own claim of how old the boots are

Picked these up second hand. I'm Brannock 9.5D but with low volume foot so having too much room in the instep is often a problem for me (which is aggravated with loafers). These are 9.5C Aberdeen, and work ok. I've tried 9.5D & 9D in this style before, and both had way too much heel slip with...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Getting rid of my Simpson last suede pct's and figured I'd snap a pic of them next to my Rain lasted pair in case it helps any future members searching for a comparison. These are both UK 8.5. Simpson's were always tight in the toes, but wearable I think only because they're suede.

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

Just saw this thread... I wear a 40R slim in S&M Neo jackets and a 40R in J Crew Ludlow and find they fit the same in chest and shoulders and the Ludlow has slightly more room in the waist.
