Mirror pro with ti rails is the best value, you can find them for $250ish on ebay sometimes

I would say the Adaptive is too hard still and the shape isn't as ergonomic as the Mirror. The position is trickier on the Argo as well since it needs to be just slightly nose up at the tip. I don't think the Mirror is too squishy at all, it's still supportive when going hard and sitting...

I've ridden both extensively and prefer the Specialized tbh. The multi-density and shape of the Mirror Power works much better for me

New bike is fully dialed and I got some new kit! Also signed up for my first race of the season, a 2ish hour circuit race in about 2 weeks. Needed the motivation to get into race shape and looking pretty decent so far; 20min power ~380w and 5min power ~450

Cracked my Alchemy again by the cable port so they made me an internally routed frame this time. Love how it turned out and really hope this is the one! Also updated to a UDH hanger and T47 BB. Frame is 540mm stack, 390mm reach, 72.5 head tube, 73 seat tube

Probably the best bang for buck road frame available right now, just picked up a white frameset since it was too good to pass up. Gonna be a backup/race/fast ride bike https://vandesselcycles.com/products/van-dessel%e2%84%a2-arch-65-frameset

Ah yeah I can see that, I actually prefer how it concentrates the light on the dining table and doesn't spill into the living room as much as the old one

It's stress cracking at the downtube cable port somehow. The builders are equally puzzled so they're making me a fully internal routed frame next. Going to use the Enve in-route system. Yeah especially with this paintjob it's very noticeable...

I was surprised he let me borrow it too! Haven't done a proper ride on it yet but just riding around the block it feels rock stiff. It's a bit small and the handlebars are kind of scary so we'll see how much I ride it, may try to borrow something else. Incredible bike though

Cracked my ti frame again, luckily my friend has a spare bike I can borrow while I wait for the replacement frame. Pretty wild bike

Jacques Marie Mage - Wolves, Obnoxious Acetate and The American Dream

Very happy with how these turned out, love the tint and fit Zephirin 47 Whiskey w/ Turquoise lenses (same tint Hickory Fade normally comes with)

Jacques Marie Mage - Wolves, Obnoxious Acetate and The American Dream

Went down to the Venice store for some prescription sunglasses and my first JMM frames. I was pretty set on the Zephirin 47 but not on the color and was leaning towards Havana but they had one pair of Whiskey left that grew on me. I wound up getting the Whiskey frames with Turqoise tint lenses...

My teammate and I finished in 3rd place today. Probably a top 5/10 hardest rides I've ever done. Very happy we finished in under 8 hours. It came down to the last 30 miles with 8 of us left (~50 starters); one team pulled off at a gas station for food & water then the winning team attacked up...

It was definitely an adjustment but feels natural now. I have long femurs, short calves, and big feet for my height so to get far enough behind the bottom bracket on a frame with low enough stack I needed to be way back. The virtual frame dimensions on the fit bike measured as a 52cm frame...

Got the fit dialed on my new bike and cut the steerer tube. My fit is pretty weird but it's very comfortable and efficient since I can get so low and use more glutes/hamstring, plus my femurs are disproportionately long. Been making some final preparations for this weekend's ride; we're racing...

    High Quality Leather Furniture Suggestions?

I suggest looking through these 3 sites, they have all the brands mentioned + more. I purchased my Muuto Outline in cognac easy leather through Mohd for a decent discount due to exchange rate and skipping the US middleman since it came from Italy https://www.dwr.com/ https://hivemodern.com/...

    Crown Northampton Appreciation Thread

After a few hours to break in they feel more like slippers than boots, the sole and uppers are very pliable. Big fan of them for sure
