I think they look fine i guess a little more distinguished without stacking (if jeans can be distinguised) i cuff my eternals to get this look... i wear for more semi- formal occcasions i feel it works... others prollyy disagree Yeah, that's what I was trying to do. I interviewed with Steve and Barry's a while back. It seemed like they strived very hard to stay so cheap. Each store has a different price. too short. you might have to single cuff. Yeah, I think you're right. They're definitely too short with no shoes on, but the boots make my hem hit a little higher than normal. I'm rocking my Sorahikos uncuffed, so I need to decide if I want one ~2" cuff or a tiny double cuff on these. Decisions...- Ahaz

No, I didn't try the pima ones. Maybe I will see if I can find some. I don't know how big you are, but for me at 5' 11" and 135, they're not skinny enough to be undershirts. Which is great for me, because I don't wear undershirts, and I like to wear plain tees the majority of the time I'm out...- Ahaz

CKs which have non stretchy fabric, Are you sure you tried the pima cotton one? They make them in several fabrics, but my pima CK shirt is fairly stretchy. Not UA lyrca stretchy, but pretty stretchy for a cotton shirt.- Ahaz

I tried on a Cap E plain tee in natural at the Levi store today. It was 90/10 cotton poly, super soft, and a great fit EXCEPT that it came down to the end of my back pockets! Hey, I like my shirts a little longer but this was a dress almost. If it was 5 inches shorter, and not $85...- Ahaz

I've been looking at measurements and different sites, and it seems like the 47s are slightly slimmer in the thigh and have a slightly higher rise than the Okinawas, with both jeans being similar from the knee down. I just got a Calvin Klein pima undershirt that I'm very happy with. A small fits me like an AA medium 2001 jersey (although their sizing is so inconsistent that's pretty meaningless) except it doesn't billow out around the waist and is maybe a hair longer. It's incredibly soft and thin.- Ahaz

Thoughts on light blue denim?
I'm not really a big fan. I think it comes from wearing dark denim so much. In general, it's more 'in' to wear lighter denim here in Texas, quite possibly due to people not wanting to wear dark denim in the heat, like you mentioned. That being said, I don't think you can go wrong by having one...- Ahaz

Knee bulge?
Throw them in the dryer on no or low heat along with a fabric softener sheet. Your jeans will come out much softer, and the knee buldges will be gone.- Ahaz
