Interesting point about the box vs. independent retailers. I am doing this through an independent shop who are also a JMM AD. But I also have a high prescription and sometimes I do not have all the options available to me.- amby16

I wasn’t aware that you could add transitions (and mirror) on top of the fashion tints. My optometrist said they couldn’t do it. So I just went with a ‘peach’ fashion tint on top of my prescriptions for my silver Marbot.- amby16

Adding to the longevity of JMM titanium frames, I've had the original appollinaire as an optical which is still going strong after 6 years. I have a gnarly prescription that is in the negative double digits and these frames have been on my face all day for 5 years, be it on the beach or workouts...- amby16

Thanks! This is my actually first C&J pair, so I haven't tried the other lasts. This Harlech is a UK size 7E. For reference, my brannock size is 8.5 US, and I wear UK 7.5 in Carmina Inca last and US 8 in Allen Edmonds 65 (Strand) last.- amby16

I’ve owned an Apollinaire optical since 2018 and I have a double digit negative prescription. They are the lightest optical frames I’ve owned. I am normally 41.5 - 42. So I would say they fit TTS (when you take into account 'conventional' CCP sizing). There is enough room in the front (with the CCP insole) to not be snug. I have worn them fairly extensively in the past few days, with no discomfort. Thanks. The color is supposed to...- amby16
