Morning Suit for around £450 in London? SuitSupply? Secondhand?

I visited SuitSupply recently and wasn't too impressed. The shop assistant brought me a jacket which was clearly to narrow in the shoulders, and tried to convince me that "it's fine because the shoulders are not padded and this is as it should be" and that "it will stretch itself in time". What...

    Balmoral Boot Appreciation

It was bespoke because I chose the color, leather and the details: how the upper and lower part should meet, where the brogueing should be, etc. So if you don't like the design, it's my fault :) I looked at balmorals in C&J and Foster&Son stores in London and I can't say their quality was...

Suit accessories for a formal evening occasion (wedding)

Another question: would it be out of place if I wore a cream waistcoat? The wedding is at 5pm in October, and the reception follows afterwards.

Suit accessories for a formal evening occasion (wedding)

I am going to attend my friend's wedding, and am gathering my attire. So far I have or decided to have: 1. a solid navy suit 2. white shirt with cufflinks 3. white pocket square I wanted to have a tie and a lapel flower. What are your recommendations on the color combination of the two?

OK, but they're relatively plain, so you will be disappointed.

    Balmoral Boot Appreciation

It was a bespoke order I made in early 2014. Januszkiewicz is a very small shop, so it took a bit of time to deliver (he slotted me for autumn saying "you won't be wearing them earlier anyway" ;-)). I just went in and got my feet measured, then sent some details about how I want the boots to...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Quote: I agree, they look better in real life than in the photos (the suede looks darker in RL and matches the leather better than the pic shows). And they're very comfortable, they offer more support for the foot than most English shoes I have (which are basically flat under the arch).

Another two pairs bought in Madrid on Calle Gran Via (the store attendants were so patient!) - my wife insisted that I buy at least 2 pairs, we ended getting three... Burgundy monk straps (the cat is in havana brown): They look sleeker in real life. Dark brown leather/suede oxford brogues:

Looking at the first photo in http://www.styleforum.net/t/211250/januszkiewicz-bespoke-shoemaker-warsaw/60#post_6874213 , would you say that the shoes open too wide?

    Balmoral Boot Appreciation

My current design is: - black leather + black suede - no medallion - both toecap and balmoral line punched - blind eyelets I couldn't find a photo of a boot done in this way, if anyone has something similar, I'll be very interested to see it.

Single leather sole - it's a dress boot. Good point about brogueing on black.

Quote: No, I'm dead set on black-black. Can't decide about brogueing and eyelets.
