I’ve been riding my bike to work for years wearing anything from thin WSL blends to flannel. Never had a crotch blowout. Elbow wear is actually a bigger issue for me :-D Btw I also walk a lot. If you ask me, crotch wear is a fit related issue. No rubbing = no wear.- sansimeon

On the subject of cleaning trousers: I accidentally took a very intense bike ride wearing linen suit trousers, and they now smell like gym shorts. Will dry cleaning take care of that? I’ve been told dry cleaning doesn’t really help with smell.- sansimeon

Never seen a SS jacket with cupro sleeve lining though, even Jort and La Spalla comes with poly or poly/viscose in the sleeves.- sansimeon

Does anyone have experience letting out the heavy cotton drill trousers? They’re a bit too tapered for my taste. I understand there’s fabric to let out but I’m worried the old stitching would show. Not sure how forgiving the cotton would be.- sansimeon

No experience with PL bags but the hardware looks cheap compared to Polo bags/leather jackets imo.What does that snap button say? RL usually have their own. edit: like this. Seems weird to use something off brand for PL stuff.- sansimeon

Looks good! Surprised you don’t need a long size. I’m the same length and wear a 40l but the sleeves are still too short. edit: trouser fit looks unusually good for being Suitsupply. Rarely see a clean inner thigh fit like that.- sansimeon

drawstring pants on a suit?
I have a pair of Zegna linen drawstring trousers that I like a lot. Have only occasionally worn them with casual sport coats and I think they look best with just a linen shirt. Very comfy.- sansimeon
