    Looking for a Traveller's Briefcase

I think the leather bags will age better than the Armoury bag. I've had my Armoury bag for 2+ years and, while it looks OK to me, there is some visible aging (e.g. very slight fraying of the nylon at the bottom where it rubs against the ground). Otherwise this is a very tough bag that I've...

    Looking for a Traveller's Briefcase

I have the Armoury x Porter and it's great for travel. I actually use it for daily commuting. It's the perfect balance between functionality and weight. I personally found the full-leather gear to be rather weighty for lugging around a full set of gear (laptop, chargers, work papers etc)...

Lazymen, Chores, & Blousons: a thread for a new form of tailoring

Lazymen, Chores, & Blousons: a thread for a new form of tailoring

One thing I have to say about the Anthology is that they make interesting fabric choices. As it is still very hot here in Hong Kong, I haven’t worn the boucle outside yet (but am very much looking to do so once it starts to get cooler). It’s an interesting hybrid fabric - very cardigan like as...

Lazymen, Chores, & Blousons: a thread for a new form of tailoring

What an awesome and timely thread. My office is transitioning to more flexible arrangements (location wise and dress wise). Given limited wardrobe space I have found myself “moving out” an old suit and replacing it with two Lazymen (the indigo one and the navy one). I also have a MTO City...

Size 14 wide toe box, narrow heel struggling to find monk straps that fit

How about Carmina Inca last? Supposed to be very slightly wider than Rain at the ball but narrower at the heel. Carmina also has lasts similar to Inca eg Buger (longer, square chisel toe) and Costitx (similar to Inca length-wise but short square toe instead of almond toe).

Made in Spain Footwear, including TLB Mallorca, Cobbler Union, Yanko, Norman Vilalta, etc

Thank you. Another option I am mulling is to MTO with the left shoe being narrower width. Kind regards

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

This may be of interest to many. I have been researching the Costitx last and it seems that the Japanese store Trading Post is a big proponent of it. I found the following make ups interesting (use Chrome with the translator): Wholecut derby (?) - https://tradingpost.jp/osaka/29720/ Quarter...

Made in Spain Footwear, including TLB Mallorca, Cobbler Union, Yanko, Norman Vilalta, etc

I have a bit of an issue in that my left foot is flatter than my right one. This means I have difficulty with oxfords - the V on the left shoe tends to close fully even when new. The right shoe is fine. I would like to know whether the Goya last is better for low instep feet than the Picasso...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Hi guys - I notice that Carmina now allows you to add "metal toe taps" to your order if you buy from them online. Does anyone know what sort of toe taps these are? Any pics? Many thanks Kind regards

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Yep, I have short, wide and flat feet, so I picked up a couple of pairs in the Detroit last... I am keen on Carmina but none of their lasts really fit me bar the wider ones like Inca or Detroit. Kind regards

    The Official Carmina Sizing Thread

Hi all I was checking out the Carmina e-boutique sale (for big and small sizes) and notice that they have put up some shoes made on the Randa last. I have not heard of this before, and searches don't seem to show anything up. Does any one know anything about this last, such as sizing...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Hi all - first post, as I've just gotten myself a Carmina. Is the vergano brown a mid brown or a dark brown? Looking for a Saphir colour match.... Many thanks and kind regards
