Headed to Denver with some friends for a few days, I know there are tons of breweries there, but any must visits (or must avoid)?

For the history, check out Wynkoop. That’s the one cofounded by former governor Hickenlooper. Denver Beer, Prost (for German style beers), Renegade, Trve, Crooked Stave (my favorite, especially their sage saison), Breckenridge.

If you make it out to Boulder, let me know.

It’s time to rock at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. I’m here for my sixth Weird Al concert.

Leave No Trace NEIPA at Gunbarrel Brewing (Boulder, CO) during a bike ride... This is the closest brewery to home, and damn good.

some better ones I had recently

Widawa / Dunham Le Polonais C’t’une Joke - with addition of grapes and aged in Chardonnay barrels, splendid beer

De Molen Party sQuad Woodford Reserve BA - was good but lacked depth of flavor/some interesting note to be in amazing category

Beer Bros Żyrardomyces Wild Imperial Bourbon Barrel Aged - wow, smelled like pickles in tase flavours of barrel, dark bread, carmel very very interesting wild beer. To me 10/10. Minus of this beer is that it is almost unobtainable even in here lol.

Nine Locks Brewing Company Pale Ale (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia) while working on a Saturday. I'm having flashbacks to hanging out on the Atlantic Coast.

Red IPA made with smoked pig ears, frankly the pig has gone slighly wild but it was a decent Red IPA turning wild
