Rims are reps?
I got a pair of Asia only AF1s paisleys from stockX, but have otherwise tried to stay off the secondary market. At the end of the day, there have been few designs that I wanted for 2x retail, especially to wear, but I have entered a few lotteries, winning none so far. That article pretty much sums it up: massive influx of retros and releases of the same shoe on thirty colorways. It’s just pure saturation. I never really got into any of the hype shoes except the ISPA stuff from 2020 and the Space Hippie (funny enough those we’re shoes that pushed design and material forward).
You see other brands pushing out large quantities of their classics like Adidas and their Sambas/Superstars/Gazelle and that is starting to collapse too.
The only pair of shoes I really wanted to was the ISPA Road Warrior: the ones with the crazy midsole. Also a few of the Sacai collabs, Vaporwaffle I think they are called. Struck out on all of these.I got a pair of Asia only AF1s paisleys from stockX, but have otherwise tried to stay off the secondary market.
