I know this is an odd post, but figured you guys would be more helpful than nothing.

So, I'm looking to get the gf a pair of gloves for Christmas, and I'm thinking about these:
http://www.yoox.com/item/YOOX/JO+NO+...3272_7_1_1B_70

They look friggin cool, but frankly I can't tell how they work. Anybody think they can shed some light on it, or better yet, find a picture from the designer or run way show? I assume they're from at least a year ago and can't find any runway pics older than the latest collection.

Thanks,
Dan

They're not really gloves. They're meant to slip over the hands to go up the arms - they probably have a place for her to slip her thumbs through as well, though that's just an assumption. It can be a pretty hot look on some women, depending on how it's worn with the rest of the outfit.

Dan,

It doesn't look like the most practical item. What would she wear them with? If she needed or wanted something more for day to day, how about a normal glove in leather, maybe slightly longer to go with all the shorter sleeved jackets that are in right now?

Thanks, guys. As much as I liked them, I do agree that they hardly seem practical. I ended up finding her a nice pair of long knit gloves at Henri Bendel, so all's good now.
