I’ve found that sleeve length (and overall fit) can vary wildly between chore coats.

Just adjust your expectations accordingly. It is unreasonable to assume this kind of standardised product quality for such modest prices.

Although mastered by the 8yr-old Bangladeshi sweatshop kids and their supermarket-sold clothes, cut consistency should not be expected by the holy aRtIsAnS of DaRakes

Does anyone have experience with the Casentino chore, and could offer an opinion on whether its measurements are as the size chart describes?

In particular, whether its sleeves are longer in practice (something true of the linen chore and the indigo denim).
It seems all non-linen chore fits the same.

More like Tailor Caid, I recently saw this American tailor in London profiled in GQ:

He seems to specialize in a mid-century American sack jacket / Ivy look. I can't speak to his price or quality, but definitely worth a look!
A true bespoke tailor can give you whatever you want. Suggest you speak to Patrick Murphy at Davies & Son. A delightful and very talented fellow, and their prices are a tick or two below some of the more boldfaced names on the opposite side of the Row.

Concur. I have a Casentino and a cotton twill chore that fit as described on the site (including the sleeves). It's the linen ones that are a lot roomier.

That gives you a clue in what regard they hold their customers.

(Within the UK they are legally obligated to accept returns)

They’ve further reduced prices on the archive sale site — at least in the Euro variety

Has anyone bought or own the sleeveless brushed shetland jumper? I'm looking to buy one in small, can't return it, need an idea what the measurements are since the website is never accurate. Thank you!

I just emailed them.. hopefully they can measure them and not tell me that they're directly shipping from a storage facility somewhere.

Does anyone know if the lightweight jeans are selvedge or non-selvedge denim (fabric from Italy)? I’ve turned into a real freak and need that little white strip running down the inside of my leg

For those who own Casentino chore coats, I’m curious to hear about how they’ve held up with a bit of mileage on them. Do they hold their shape?
Other Casentino shirt jackets that I’ve seen online (not Drake’s) always appear flimsy and look like they will end up a bit too droopy after some wear. The Drake’s Casentino zip fleece I have is thick and sturdy, but it’s a different garment. I have a cotton canvas chore so I’m hoping the Casentino chore coats are just as robust. Thanks for your input.
