I recall now the casentino vests being compatible with this jacket. How does the vest attach inside? There's a snap loop on the back of the collar, right?

It snaps into a few brass buttons set off of the coat's zipper. Quite seamless, and much more efficient than Barbour's system.

It's a SS22 Linen (& cotton) Games Tunic Jacket featured here. Beautiful piece. You should post a link to it so I can... uh... check its authenticity.

Such a bummer they changed the pockets in the latest model 😔
Ah yes - they got rid of these buttons in the latest edition, correct? I am indeed tempted by the tunic, however I suspect it’s too big. I’m a 44 in my drakes chores, and this one is also a 44. From what I’ve read here, these run a little big. Correct?

Chest pockets were not tilted anymore in the latest version. Perhaps buttons were different too but can’t remember… new pockets had killed my interest already 😕

I have the earlier all-linen version that may be a slightly different iteration of the games tunic. It fits similar if not minimally smaller than all cotton chores I’ve tried

I have the navy version from SS22 and also the newer one from SS23 in olive...they're very different. I'm not even sure why they're called the same thing. In addition to the change in the buttons and pocket shape and orientation, the earlier model is longer and has a much more tailored silhouette. The later one has a straighter, boxier fit. What seduced me about the SS23 version was the fabric blend, which has a really interesting hand and weave, totally different from the SS22 model. It was maddeningly expensive. At the time I swore that this was it, I wouldn't buy any more rugged olive outerwear from Drake's, no matter what.

Less than three months later I bought the Chasseur jacket.

Would someone here be able to confirm that there’s something fishy about the chambray shirt sizing? Are they continually shrinking to the point where you need to size up 1 full size?

How do you like the Chasseur jacket? Does it fit true to size? I've heard others recommend to size down, as it's baggier than Drake's chore coats. Welcome your advice, as I'm thinking of picking one up but live nowhere near a Drake's shop.

Just got the ALD Casentino full zip fleece today and it was a pain to unzip/zip with the teeth easily being misaligned and/or stuck. I’ve rubbed it with candle wax to loosen it and it helped (no silver bullet) but this has left a sour taste in my mouth as I was not expecting this from a 1000 dollar item.

Wanted to hear from this crowd if this is a “normal” expectation from metal double zippers or don’t bother with this and just return it. Everything else about this jacket , cut and color, is fantastic but this zipper.

Are the zippers Riri? IMO, I’d either try exchanging it or return.. it might get worse and itll just bother you even more in the future..esp for 1k
