Because it happens very frequently with AE for all foot shapes. The worst ones look like that without a foot in them!
UNIFORM LA Japanese BDU Camo Cargo Pants Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Japanese BDU Camo Cargo Pants are now live. These cargos are based off vintage US Army BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) cargos. They're made of a premium 13.5-ounce Japanese twill that has been sulfur dyed for a vintage look. Every detail has been carried over from the inspiration and elevated. Available in two colorways, tundra and woodland. Please find them here
Good luck!.

Take a look at the AE thread. Ill bet you'll see this and the mention of bowing occurring quite a bit. I know you can see this mentioned on Amazon in their customer reviews, at least on the Park AVE and I imagine its mentioned on other shoes as well where the customer had to replace their shoes once if not a couple of times. AE is quite well known for their customer support, but they are also fairly well known for their sloppy quality control as well.I'm a bit confused. Why "lazy lasting"? Couldn't it just be that the AE last in question simply doesn't fit his feet well?
I can't wear AEs, at least none made on the "5" last, as they simply don't fit my feet.
I have nothing for or against AE shoes - I'm just confused as to what lazy lasting is and why it couldn't just be a case of the last not being suited to the shape of his foot.

****** lasting is step 117 of AE's famous 212 step handmade production process.Quote:
Indeed. I have seen that all too often in brand new shoes sitting on the shelf.
