Happy to share this milestone here (TLDR Pics below)!


I left my corporate job last September and went full time reseller. I've been selling part time since 1999. I used to buy boxes of ethernet cable from Home Depot and make 10 foot cables to sell. Then I moved on to university auctions and sold box truck loads of old Macintosh computers. Wish I still had those.

I took a break till about 2014 when I just happened to look up the price of a Hawaiian shirt I found at a church sale. I figured I could list it and I did. Here is one of my 2014 finds that I think I posted here, a vintage parade shirt:



I give credit to everyone on this forum for sharing their knowledge and help. I've never felt in competition with anyone local to me that posts here. Thank you!

It has been a fun ride these past months getting things organized and making this work. I'm only about a quarter of the way to where I want to be. I no longer have to limit my sourcing trips to lunchtimes, weekends, and evenings which has been wonderful. The part that I was most worried about was health insurance and that didn't turn out to be too bad.

Anyway, here are some great finds over the past month or so. I don't find as much menswear so I look at everything.

No MariMekko Left behind. This is a rare 1970s piece. The color is superb.



RudSak - I didn't know this brand but it is down and pretty sweet.





Sun Kim - This brand no longer exists but has a following


A Tuskiiz Embroidered robe. From what I've been told this embroidery is usually for wall hangings. This is heavy with a full lining. Amazing.

Hey all - been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve been hustling to get my online store set up, and navigating/analyzing that whole scene, dealing with a burly backlog, and still trying to get reps in. I guess I’m a reseller now. Mad respect to all of you grizzled veterans out there who’ve been in the game and grinding it out.

Haven’t been out as much of late and trying to be disciplined, but heres what’s new.

This I picked up a while ago but had such incongruity between lack of label knowledge, condition (minty), and age (old) I thought it might be fake. I’m pretty sure now it’s not haha

A thing

Definitely a thing. This one had the dreaded “as is” tag despite looking basically unused. I searched it at length at the store, zippers buttons etc, but at .04 percent of retail Id take the gamble. My wife figured it out at home. The embroidery, usually a corporate logo and a death sentence for thrift items and seen as a downside by stores, was the sign it had been designed by Goan Thylmann, part of a long-standing Bogner collab. This is recent, and gorgeous.

First real bin find. You could smell the leather from a few feet away. Not sure how folks missed it. The comps are pretty good. A couple coats of obenauf and it’s looking pretty great.

This thing is an open weave cotton with a hard linen hand and is too cool if you ask me.

Edit: I found the pic in a story about the 1988 Paris Roubaix race. It’s Dirk Demol (left) and Thomas Wegmüller who finished 1-2 that year in a huge breakaway. Laurent Fignon came in this that race, but neither rider in the background looks like him.

Anvil tag dates between 1992-1999, probably toward the early end if it’s single stitch.

I'd be shocked if there was Black Fleece. Didn't Thom Browne stop working with Brooks Brothers years ago?

y'know i mentioned it w/o even thinking about it (show's how long it's been since i've been in a BB store) - they did end in 2015.

From what I'm seeing online, the "going out of business" sales is 10 - 30% off, with some items at normal price. So it's not going to be worth the time to go.
