Would anyone be interested in a meetup? Perhaps around May?

Definitely interested, would depend on dates though. We have a trip planned in May because we're degenerate ravers. ;)

Yeah, I booked for Clydes given that they are reasonably priced and can hold a large party. I also didn't know everyone's price point and wanted a decent turn out. The ambiance isn't the greatest but the food is solid and can hold a large party. Can always cancel and give you a list of restaurants that may catch your eye.

Chez Billy Sud was the first choice recommended by the @professor but they can only hold a party of 6 in their bistro. They offer private dining for larger parties but they need a two week notice and would need a down payment.

La Chaumiere and La Bonne Vache are some other French bistros that caught my eye.

If you are really interested in trying some tasty bites outside of Georgetown I would recommend Lapis and Sababa Uptown.

Let me know, we are agile.

DC Crew we are doing dinner on May 9th @ Clyde's in Georgetown. Greg Lellouche, NMWA, and Gianluca, Pommella Napoli, will also be gracing us with their presence.

We will be seated at 8pm. If you plan attending please click the like button or reply to this message.

Thank You,
Superb

Two in my 'hood, Adams Morgan! :slayer:

The food at Lapis is very tasty. I just wish there was more of it. You order a dish, and it's three-quarters rice and one-quarter dish. They must be doing something right, as it's always packed. Pretty solid choice if you're going with a group of people.

Reveler's Hour is my favorite "nice" restaurant in the DC area. They opened on NYE 2019--yeah, pretty bad timing--and sent out a call for business through Popville when things looked bleak. I started getting takeout to start, then started dining in, and never left. I go there around 2-4x/month; it's my third largest expenditure behind my mortgage and co-op fee, and ahead of cable TV, wifi, groceries, and booze. It's gotten to the point where the kitchen will send me a free appetizer as a matter of course and the bartender will give me free half-pours of wine. I've been meaning to cut back on dining there, but I just can't quit it.

Some photos from my 10th anniversary trip with wifey in the country side.

Moon tweed sc, donegal trousers, Y polo, and EG Galways.

Booked a BnB and returned to the restaurant at Patowmack farm. We went there for our 1 year anniversary, nine years ago. Still have our printed menu from that day.

Had a nine course meal and had to be rolled out afterwards.
