Only pic I have right now of my only pair of cufflinks.

My wife bought them for me when we first started dating as we were still transatlantic then. The globes spin and they're wonderful.

Was planning on RLPL DB suit but grabbed the wrong one. Decided to stick with it on this "casual" Friday. d'Avenza sport coat, E. Marinella tie, and Oxxford dress pants. I had one d'Avenza summer tan suit ages ago but passed it on. They do a full Roman cut and this one is 50R rather than my usual 52L. Mirror needs cleaning.

Timing sucks. I’m trying to keep some powder dry for a possible tailoring trunk show.

Anyone jumping on anything here:

Since you guys got me thinking about cufflinks I went digging around for mine. The others are nothing special. This pair my dad gave to me. He got them in Toledo when we lived in Spain back in the late 80’s.

@hpreston it was quite the drop. Im glad I can’t afford it or I would be sweating bullets trying to pick.

Nah, I’m maxxed out on outerwear. The Giorgio coat in Navy looked interesting but NMWA keeps skewing towards billowing, oversized garments and I prefer a more tailored look.

They did put up Carrara suits in Gray and Navy in 52L, though. Tempted by the gray but am holding out for a summer whiteish linen suit from them. Will likely commission one if Greg comes back here or on next NYC trip.

This. So much this. I'm surprised that they clearly think that the market isn't already saturated with heavy, oversized coats. I'd be all over a well-tailored lighter-weight trench, and it sounds like @TheSuitBurnsBetter might be, too. (Valstar makes a trench, but it looks kind of meh to me.)
