I think he meant the reverse.

I definitely buy in small lots but those purchases still dwarf the quantities they are buying. I can't remember the last time I shopped at TJ Max or Ross. They low key shammed me, woosaw.

Ha, we definitely keep NMWA going strong.
Geez is it that obvious I grew up on the other side of the tracks

You guys have been paying attention. I like a good paisley pattern. I will be sure to pick it up when I see it thrifting. Is there a lounge coats thread?

This site will make you do weird things and put you out of touch with the rest of society. No one needs a dressing gown :(.

I remember Kirby used to sell one of those made out of ancient madder silk. I could never justify the price. But I always thought it was really cool.

Good sirs, you all need dressing gowns so long as you nick them from your father's closet when he turns his back for a split second.

Yikes, my coworkers were talking about clothes today and how much they typically spend on items. I wanted to slide under my desk.

I’ve had that conversation before. Us Styleforum-types are the sartorial version of the heavy drinkers that, while only 10% of the population, keep the industry afloat.

I definitely buy in small lots but those purchases still dwarf the quantities they are buying. I can't remember the last time I shopped at TJ Max or Ross. They low key shamed me, woosaw.

I definitely struggle here.

Plenty of coworkers pay compliments, but man am I hesitant to answer the “where did you buy that?” Question. Once I got a compliment on an over shirt from No Man and made the mistake of answering, when they asked.

The coworker checked out the site and the next day made a point to tell me they’d be sticking with Costco…..

When people ask me how much my shoes cost, I just tell them "your paycheck!"

God bless Derek’s affordable menswear tip list. I made that mistake once of telling the truth. Now I just say “I think spier mackay has something similar” or something.
