Many thanks. Neo is 38L contemporary. Tuxedo is 40L contemporary.
What made you size up with the tux? Interestingly, I got the full canvas black tux from last year in my usual contemporary 38L and the shoulders fit a bit narrow. Normally, not an issue with the Neo cuts but with the padded shoulder, the divot is a bit more noticeable than I would like. I'm on the fence about ordering this same VBC tux but in a 40 slim.

Anyone know where I can get more specs about the collars than collar point length and collar band height?

I'm trying to figure out which of the S&P collars would most closely match a collar I have from another maker that has 3" points with a 5" spread between them.

It's hard and getting harder to find info. It's frustrating. If you send them an email they will answer, but you shouldn't have to do that IMHO.

Go to the custom shirt area and then to the options tab. You can see all the collars, band heights, point lengths, and spread.

Is anybody else unable to apply filters or sorting on a desktop browser? As soon as the mouse comes close to the filter options, the top menu bar appears and obscures them.

Just a little venting...I really dislike the top patch pocket that every DB SC I want to buy comes with. I could do without them on any SC.

Do you mean a patch chest pocket or the patch ticket pocket? If ticket pocket, any tailor can snip them out and you'll never see it on a textured material. I usually leave them, but I had one removed from a jacket where I really disliked the look.

I sized up because of the shoulder construction and the cut of the tuxedo. I typically wear a 38L in the Neo cut but since the tuxedo has a lightly padded shoulder, I hypothesized that I might need a different size for it to fit my shoulders well and drape properly. It also being unvented informed my decision to size up, as unvented suit coats tend to fit slimmer through the skirt and over the hips, so I wanted to give myself some room in that area without it pulling or being constricting to maintain a flattering silhouette. I ordered both the 38L cont and 40L cont to compare before ultimately deciding on the 40L cont.

This is super helpful! I'm also a 38L contempt so was thinking about sizing up to 40S but may take the plunge on the 40cont.
