A first glimpse of Leffot, a soon-to-be-opened high end men's shoe store in the Village that carries EG, G&G, Weston, Aubercy, and Corthay. It's dark, so pardon the fuzzy pictures.

Yup, it's on Christopher and ****:

The space is minimalistic, the only display space I saw (thru the perforated metal gate) was the long table, there's no other shelves, may be not yet. As you can see, the shoes they stock are on the safe side, there's no wild color Aubercy:

Perhaps Gay St. is a harbinger of the type of clients the store will attract.

I have til now had a problem with spectators, but these are nice

Interesting. My old apartment was on Waverly between 6th and Christopher. This store would have crushed my budget during the day. Glad to be far from the temptation.

This section of the Village is really nice these days. It was perfect as well for getting on the 1,2,3 trains for a ride down into the World Financial Center. Better still was the proximity to the jazz clubs.
