Any info on RL dress shoes. Who makes them? what's the quality like? I found a pair of Ralph Lauren Albin Oxford's online and I was wondering what the sizing of this shoe would be compared to an AE in the 0 last. Any comments on this model in particular, I think they're RLBL. If I wear an 11E in the AE 0 last would I have to go up on the RL? Any help is appreciated since I'm just starting to learn about higher end shoes.

Thanks

Try searching RL shoes, there's a wealth of info about them. Made by Sesto Meucci, the company that produces Gucci shoes. Some people complain about poor quality of the RL made in Italy shoes-if Doc Holliday sees this thread, he will reference you to his RL italian boots that had quality issues.

I love the made in Italy line myself, for the right price, and the Albin is a nice looking shoe. Some say they run narrow, but my experience was that they fit TTS; you wouldn't have to go up a size, but you would probably need at least an E width (I think they come in E maximum). There is no such thing as an RLBL shoe. Regular line are just "Ralph Lauren," and purple label are becoming harder to identify as such.

I've got a pair of Albins marked 11E.
They fit like a D width shoe to me.
They definitely fit tighter than a pair of AE Moras in 10.5E .
