OTR Suit Jacket Woes: What Causes "Cuff Sliding?"

Hello - I buy OTR, for now, and a problem I have consistently with the suit jackets or sport coats that I buy is that, when I raise or reach my arms out, the cuffs of the jacket slide along my arms, exposing far too much of the cuff and sleeve of my shirt underneath. Is this due entirely to too-large armscyes, or is there more to it than that? Just curious.

I used to have the same problem but I solved it by using a small safety pin to keep the jacket cuff and shirt cuff together. Done properly, the safety pin will not be visible.
